YOUR INFORMATION & YOUR CHOICES

ChatmatchCam Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ChatmatchCam at chatmatch.cam collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you browse our website, sign in, or use our one-on-one video chat service.

1. Our service and privacy contact

ChatmatchCam is a browser-based service for adults aged 18 and older to meet women through one-on-one video conversations. Voice and text communication are supporting features. Our public homepage, guides, and policies can be read without signing in.

This policy applies to chatmatch.cam and its service endpoints, including api.chatmatch.cam and img.chatmatch.cam. It does not cover other websites with similar names. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected] or visit our contact page.

2. Information received through Google sign-in

Google sign-in is optional. If you choose it and authorize the sign-in, Google provides basic account information: your Google account identifier, email address, and basic profile details such as your name and profile picture when available. The authorization result is sent to our service to authenticate you and create or access your ChatmatchCam account.

The Google login integration requests basic email and profile access. It does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Contacts, or Google Calendar. We do not receive your Google password. You can review the permissions shown by Google before continuing.

3. How we use and share Google account data

We use Google account information only for sign-in and account functions: recognizing your account, authenticating access, maintaining your account profile, and providing account-related support and security. Basic profile information may populate your ChatmatchCam profile; review your visible name and photo before interacting with others.

Google account data is processed by the backend and hosting providers that operate these account functions. Access and disclosure are limited to what is needed to provide them, respond to a request you authorize, protect account security, or comply with a legal obligation. Your Google sign-in permission is not permission for unrelated use of your information.

We do not sell Google account data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. We do not use it to generate or edit images. Google sign-in is an account-access feature, not a content-generation feature.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable. These Google-specific restrictions take precedence over general data-sharing descriptions in this policy.

4. Other information the service handles

Depending on the features you use, the service handles the following information:

  • Account and profile information you provide, including your chosen name, email address, profile photo, and other profile fields you choose to complete.
  • Messages, photos, and other content you choose to send, plus support requests and reports. Do not include passwords, sign-in codes, or unnecessary private information in a support message.
  • Technical and session information, such as IP address, browser and device information, identifiers used to maintain a session, language settings, timestamps, and service activity. Guest entry still involves technical data; it is not an absence of data collection.
  • Matching and call records, such as participants, connection status, time, duration, and related coin usage. These records are distinct from the contents of an audio or video call.
  • If you buy coins or membership, the selected product, amount, currency, order reference, and payment status. Payment details entered with a payment provider are also handled under that provider’s policy.

5. Camera, microphone, and call privacy

A video call uses your camera and microphone with browser permission. Your audio and video are transmitted to the other participant through the communication service needed to connect the call. Browser permissions can be changed in your site or device settings.

We do not record or store the contents of your audio or video calls on our servers. This does not mean that no call-related data exists: the service processes connection and activity records described above. Text messages, uploaded media, and information you send to support are separate from a live call.

Another participant can see and hear what you share and may capture it using their own device. We cannot guarantee that another person will not record a conversation. Keep private details out of view and read our safety guidance.

6. Why we use service information

We use service information to deliver matching and communication, maintain accounts and sessions, process purchases and balances, answer support requests, investigate technical problems and abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. Activity and diagnostic data also help us understand how the service is used and improve its reliability.

The Google sign-in information described in sections 2 and 3 remains limited to login and account functions. It is not used for advertising or AI training.

7. Cookies, local storage, and analytics

The website uses browser storage, including cookies and local storage, to maintain sessions and preferences such as language and your age-confirmation choice. Clearing this storage may sign you out or reset those choices.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page views and interactions with the service. Analytics can involve device and browser information, identifiers, approximate location, and usage events. This is separate from the basic account information received when you choose Google sign-in.

You can manage cookies and site storage in your browser. Google explains its analytics-related processing in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Blocking storage or scripts can affect service functions.

8. Who receives information

Other participants receive the profile details and communications that the product shows to them or that you choose to share. One-on-one communication is not the same as being invisible to the person you speak with.

Providers supporting the backend, hosting and content delivery, communications, payments, analytics, and customer support process information needed for those services. For example, Google handles Google sign-in and analytics, and Cloudflare supports delivery and protection of this website. Google account data is subject to the narrower rules in section 3.

We may disclose relevant information when you request or authorize it, when required by applicable law, or when necessary to address fraud, abuse, or a security incident. We do not sell your personal information.

9. Storage, security, and retention

Account information, including Google-provided identifiers and profile details used for login, is held in the service’s account systems. Session information and preferences are also stored in your browser. Connections to this website and its API use HTTPS to protect information in transit. No online service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

We retain information for as long as it is needed for the account or service purpose described here. Relevant records may also need to be retained to meet legal obligations, resolve a payment dispute, or investigate fraud or abuse. Retention depends on the type of record and the reason it is still needed.

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data, including Google sign-in information, through the contact route below. After the request is verified, information no longer needed for those purposes is deleted or anonymized; legal or security-related retention exceptions may apply. Ask support which records can be removed and which must be retained for your request.

10. Revoke access or request deletion

You can review and remove ChatmatchCam’s Google connection in your Google Account third-party connections. Removing that connection stops future access authorized through it. It does not automatically delete your ChatmatchCam account or information already received.

To request access, correction, or deletion, email [email protected] with the subject “ChatmatchCam privacy request.” Include your account identifier or sign-in email and explain what you want changed or deleted. Never send your Google password, a sign-in code, or full payment-card details.

We may need enough information to verify that a request concerns your own account. Available rights and any retention exceptions depend on applicable law. A request can include both your account data and Google-derived information; revoking Google access and requesting deletion are separate steps.

12. Policy updates and further questions

We update this page when our privacy practices change and show the revision date above. Changes to Google data use must remain consistent with the permissions and disclosures presented to users.
